They have once again been crowned the champions after beating Harambee Stars 2-1 in a very interesting game of which the Harambee Stars were thought to win the game because they committed themselves into winning the championship of Cecafa Challenge Cup. But it was Ugandans' day again because with no doubt they came to the field to surely retain the trophy, the 30,000 dollars and everything at home.

Meanwhile, Zanzibar Heroes succeeded into beating The Kilimanjaro Stars from Tanzania mainland and finished the tournament in the third position. The game was judged by penalty kicks and Zanzibar won 6-5.
